Christmas on the Current

Join us on Saturday, December 7, 2024, for Christmas on the Current, a day full of festive family fun in Van Buren, Missouri!

This event kicks off at 10 AM at the historic Carter County Courtyard and continues throughout the day with something for everyone to enjoy:

• Holiday Market: Open at 10 AM featuring local vendors with unique holiday gifts.
• Food Trucks: Offering all-day delicious treats.
• Pageant: Held at the Courthouse Pavilion—come cheer on the contestants!
• Kids’ Activities: Enjoy free games, face painting, and photos with Santa! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will also make special appearances.
• Memory Lane Memorial Tree Display: A touching tribute to loved ones, organized by Martha Gibbs.
• Festival of Lights Parade: Beginning at 6 PM, the parade will light up the night, followed by a spectacular light display.

This is a family-friendly event that brings the community together for a joyful celebration of the holiday season.
